Nocturnality

Ambience dances across the sky
The princess from her chambers starts to rise
She moves
Exuding beauty and perfect grace
She paints behind her jewels
In her place
As she glides into her waiting throne

The dancers seem to fade
And new wonders are shown
Diamonds bring a soothing dark embrace
They all reach out
Caressing every face
Lullabies are whispered into ears

As slumbering souls soon slip and clear
Silence then gives way to a new light
The princess casts her glow into the night
It shines
It flows
It wraps its arms, so lovingly and bright

Every soul has rest and then returns
The princess to her chambers must adjourn
Dancers in her wake
They paint the sky
Murmuring goodbyes to the night
